WELCOME TO JIM BAXTER'S AUTOGYRO.COM WEBSITE

AeroBalsa is very pleased to bring you Jim Baxter's Autogyro.com website. With so little information available
on model autogyros, it was imperitive to keep Jim's site online for the model autogyro community. That became
my goal as soon as I learned that Jim was preparing to take his site offline in October of 2005.

It is important to acknowledge the contribution Jim has made to the world of model autogyros. Jim, Rick Anderson
(creator and author of the former Gyronuts.com website), and a handful of others were a bit like pioneers in this
facet of radio control modeling. Over a period of approximately 10 years, Jim continually innovated, perfected and
more importantly, shared what he and others learned about these autorotating machines with anyone who would visit
his website. What a resource it is to have so much great info online!

Jim's Autogyro.com website is here for informational and reference purposes only. Please use this info to help you
design, build and/or fly your model gyro. We will not be updating or changing the info on Jim's site. It will be left
intact just as it was when the site was transferred to us.

Please note that we will not reply to any emails regarding the content of Jim's site. Again, we bring Autogyro.com
to you as a reference. Please use it as such.

Happy autorotation,
Mike Smith - Aerobalsa.com

Well it has been nearly ten years,   and those of you who have hung in there with me all this time can understand why it has required considerable time and mental effort keeping this site up and running,   not to mention the monetary expense.

Time moves on,  and like everything else in life,  one has to face changes.   With my age and family considerations being paramount,  I had slowly been preparing to simply cancel my web account and erase AUTOGYRO.COM and fade off into the sunset.

Mike Smith of “AEROBALSA” has stepped forward and offered to keep the site open for the continued benefit of all those great modelers who have the energy and ingenuity to venture into the unique area of Autogyos.  If we are able to sucessfully complete the transfer to AEROBALSA.COM,  it should happen in the near future.      Please make note of that address just in case you try to access this website in the future and find it is not here.

Please note that this site is not being monitored daily....   I do not have the time to complete up-dating changes and/or new items of interest.       Do not send e-mails requesting information regarding copies of model Autogyro Plans...        Please contact AEROBALSA.COM for any plans previously posted on this site....
